Rob is a California native who moved to Hawaii to become a PADI Scuba Instructor after graduating with a liberal arts degree. He holds a USCG Master's license and an Australian Yachtmaster's offshore certificate. He started sailing extensively in the early 1990s in such locations as the UK, South Africa, Australia and the Pacific. Rob is a therapeutic massage therapist.

Tiffany is an Australian who has worked over 10 years in the hospitality industry in areas of food preparation, fine dining and cocktail service. She also holds a degree in hospitality management. She has traveled throughout Europe, the Middle East and parts of Asia, where she acquired an enjoyment of exotic foods. She has since trained in Oriental and Thai cuisine, and also enjoys cooking with Indian spices.

Assisting Rob &Tiffany aboard True North are Euros & Emily Williams. Euros hails from the Wales and Emily from Jersey, situated in the English Channel. The pair were childhood sweet hearts and after university, sailed the Caribbean waters and on to Panama and beyond, including the east coast of Australia and numerous Pacific islands. Euros holds an RYA Yachtmaster offshore license and Emily holds an RYA Day Skipper license. They are both qualified first aiders and PADI Open Water Divers.
