Geoff and Bambi have lived in Cape Town, South Africa for most of their lives, Geoff a builder by profession and Bambi a nurse.  Later she found her true love, food and cooking, and she spent 12 years in catering.

From Dec 98' to October 2002 Alexis carried Geoff and Bambi safely through many adventures,
from St. Helena, Brazil, up the Para River in the Amazon, French Guana, The Carribean Island chain, British, US and Spanish Virgin Islands, Puerto Rica, Dominican Republic, Turks and Caicos Islands, Bahamas and across the Gulf Stream to Cape Canaveral in Florida, then up the intercostal waterway to the Chesapeake Bay. In all 12,000 nautical miles of incredible cruising!
