Meet your Crew: David Miroux & Alain Schieb

David Miroux as Captain of Lone Star World reknown chef Alain Schieb on Lone Star
Capt. David Miroux has a long experience at sea with round the World voyages on several catamaran sailing yachts. These cruises took him from France, across the Atlantic, the Pacific, and the Indian Ocean to the Red Sea and to the Mediterranean, and again the Caribbean.  From Venezuela to the British Virgin Islands, the Caribbean islands have no more secrets for him. David has a great personality, confidence, delighted to be in charge of one of the largest catamaran cruising yachts in charter service. He is a graduate of the famous “Ecole d' Hydrographie de Saint Malo” one of the most prestigious maritime institutes in the World.  Born in Papeete, Tahiti, Chef Alain Schieb was eager to go back to sea and “LONE STAR” provided the opportunity. Recognized as “Best Chef in France in 1993” (Meilleur Ouvrier de France 1993), finalist of the “Pierre Taittinger International Culinary Meeting”, winner of the 39th “Auguste Escoffier International Culinary Grand Prix”, finalist of the “Cordon d'Or de la Cuisine Francaise” in Monaco, Alain Schieb brings his exceptional talent and expertise on-board “LONE STAR”. He is at his best sharing his passion for great food with his guests, and the unique setting of an 85'catamaran sailing in Paradise while savoring Alain's cuisine comes close to re-defining Epicurean moments.
